John is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Axius Partners Pty Limited. He has over 30 year’s experience in the Australian Funds Management Industry.
John has extensive experience and relationships within the Australian Institutional Funds Industry and the Asset Consultant community. He has contacts across a broad spectrum of Pension Funds, Multi-Managers, Government legislated entities and Insurance companies.
His experience has exposed him to a broad range of asset classes that enables a valuable understanding of many investment strategies and their application in Australian institutional investment portfolios.
Prior to establishing Axius John worked for a number of Global Investment Management firms in Senior Management roles. This includes Head of Institutional Distribution and Sales roles at Credit Agricole Asset Management Australia, Credit Suisse Asset Management Australia, and Schroders Investment Management Australia.
In addition to his role at Axius Partners, John is also a current Shareholder and Board Member of Australian equities boutique Funds Manager – Selector Funds Management. As at January 2021 Selector managed A$2.8b in institutional portfolios.
John holds a Master of Commerce from the University of NSW and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
