Axius Partners recently assisted the Pikos Property Group, a Brisbane based property developer, obtain and structure a debt finance facility to fund the refinance and construction of the Gaia, residential development being undertaken at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane.

With construction underway, the project will ultimately comprise 237 apartments in various configurations housed in 2 towers of 15 and 16 storey’s in height, with basement carparking for 461 cars. Construction is forecast for completion in late 2026.

The project funding was secured with an offshore private equity fund.

Despite challenging conditions in real estate debt markets, Axius Partners was able to secure the debt funding and assist the structuring of same on favourable terms and conditions for the sponsors, to facilitate delivery of the project and assist the sponsors ongoing growth agenda.
