Axius Partners recently assisted a Sydney based property developer secure and structure mezzanine debt finance, as part of a broader complex finance package that incorporated senior debt, mezzanine debt and preferential equity, for a residential project in Waterloo comprising of 331 apartments.As the current real estate credit conditions continue to deteriorate for property developers, Axius Partners was able to secure mezzanine finance for the sponsor and assist the structuring of the transaction to accommodate the requirements of the sponsor and senior / preference equity financiers. The terms and conditions of the mezzanine finance were competitive and will help fund the successful delivery of the project.
