Axius Assists Offshore Property Developer

Axius Partners recently assisted an Offshore Property Developer obtain and structure a development finance facility to fund the construction of a residential development being undertaken in Carlton in Melbourne’s north east suburbs. The project will ultimately comprise 79 apartments in various configurations, ground floor commercial space and basement parking for 100 cars. The project will be delivered over the next 2-years.

The project finance was secured with an offshore private equity fund.

Despite challenging conditions in real estate debt markets, and further deterioration over the last 2-years because of Covid-19 capital constraints, Axius Partners was able to secure the debt funding and assist the structuring of same on favourable terms and conditions for the sponsors, to facilitate delivery of the project and assist the sponsors ongoing growth agenda.
